Hello! I’m Amy Jo!

My one true passion in life is creating art for other people to cherish forever. I want to provoke emotions from within you and express them with colors and vibrations on my canvas. Is that cheesy? I am pretty cheesy so I hope so! Lets collaborate and make something together.

Artist serving the South by way of Southern Louisiana, on the bayou. New Orleans. Dallas. Houston. Baton Rouge, Shreveport & beyond. Traveling is a huge passion in my life.

My one true passion in life is creating art for other people to cherish forever. I want to provoke emotions from within you and express them with colors and vibrations on my canvas.I appreciate and love all living beings. I believe in love. I believe in acceptance and learning and growing. 

I primarily work in acrylic and watercolors doing commission work and live event & wedding painting. I create self portraits in photography and painting typically expressing my passions with self love and mental health awareness. I am frequently mixing media including airbrushing, sculpture, costuming, and body & face painting.I was born and raised in La Grange, Missouri and since then have lived in Cut Off, Thibodaux, Portland- Oregon, and Amsterdam. I graduated from Nicholls with a BFA in Fine Art and Art History in 2013. I am now living and working in Cut Off, Louisiana as a Self Employed Freelance Painter and Photographer.
