Live Wedding Painting Update!
Weeee so it’s been officially about a year since I started painting at weddings and I’m so happy with how it’s gone. Of course I’ve been painting for like my— whole life?— and painting in front of people no problem for years. But there is some sort of nerves that comes with doing anything involving weddings. I mean I did do wedding photography for like 10 years so I’ve been in the industry forever.
There’s just something about painting at a wedding that feels so right for me. People just really seem to appreciate my talent and it makes me feel good. Which, weirdly enough, seems to be a rare thing these days.
Also all of the * professional * photos in this blog were done by my lovely friends over at Peony Wedding photography! I rarely do wedding photography anymore so I HIGHLY recommend them! They are amazing and also can shoot FILM on your wedding day! How cool!
So here’s some recent paintings I’ve finished up- wedding and otherwise.
Thanks for looking!

When talking with Bavana (bride) before she booked me she mentioned that her and her husband had one of their first dates at a painting class— you know like the wine and painting ones? I thought about how fun it would be if they could add a little something into the painting. So I picked a heart and showed them what to do and then each person painted one side of the heart!* cries *
